Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace both
in QUALITIA CLOUD

Digital workspace security measures with QUALITIA CLOUD

Two-factor authentication is a combination of two of the following elements, which are in effect used mainly with 'what the user has (SYH)' in combination with 'what the user knows (SYK)' and the user's 'physical characteristics (SYA)'.

Something You Know (SYK)
e.g. passwords
Something You Have (SYH)
hardware tokens, software tokens, smart cards, etc.
Physical characteristics of the user (Something You Are: SYA)
fingerprints, iris, veins, voice, etc.

In addition to authentication by user ID and password, authentication by one-time password is required to log in to QUALITIA CLOUD (if two-factor authentication is switched on). The one-time password can only be obtained on a device that has been paired one-to-one with the user using QUALITIA OTP application, so that even if a third party successfully authenticate using the user ID and password, the one-time password input screen prevents unauthorised use This makes it possible to prevent unauthorised use of the system.

This will be a combination of the user ID and password from 'what the user knows (SYK)' and the paired device (e.g. smartphone) from 'what the user has (SYH)' above.

To use the system, first pair your smartphone according to the QUALITIA CLOUD two-factor authentication initial registration screen. After pairing, enter the six-digit one-time password displayed on the application into your PC. When the correct one-time password is entered, registration and login are complete.

For the second and subsequent authentications, QUALITIA OTP receives a push notification, which can be authenticated by entering the six-digit one-time password displayed in the application.
